What do the search options mean?
Leave a dropdown list on "All" to get the most results. You can refine your search using these options:
- Agency will only show voice artists from that agency
- Sex will only show either male or female voice artists
- Language will only show voice artists that can speak that language
- Tone will only show voice artists that can speak using a particular tone of voice
- Style will only show voice artists that can speak with a particular style of voice
- Accent will only show voice artists that can speak with a particular accent
- Province will only show voice artists that live in that provice
Do I need to
be a professional to sign up as a voice artist?
No. If you are new to the game and don't have an agent, we'll automatically register you with the Nearly Famous voice agency when you sign up.
Can Vox record my voice clips for the site?
Yes. If you don't already have voice clips, we will book The Wave Factory Faclities in Randburg to record your three 15-second clips. You choose what scripts to read. There is a nominal studio cost.
What does it cost to use a voice for your production?
Voice recording and usage rates are negotiated and agreed annualy on an industry-wide basis. The current rate card is available here.
